ARGENTNE TANGO DALLAS (ATD)

Argentine Tango Dallas is a non-profit dance organization dedicated to Argentine Tango. ATD was founded in 2009 and incorporated as a non-profit organization in 2016, with the goal of fostering, educating and nurturing Argentine Tango throughout the Dallas Area and the entire state of Texas.
Argentine Tango Dallas is dedicated to encouraging artistic expression and the development of community through Argentine Tango.
Argentine Tango first appeared on the scene towards the end of the nineteenth century in Buenos Aires. Since then, it has spread its wings worldwide and has been recognized by UNESCO as “Heritage of Humanity”.
Come join us for classes, practicas, milongas or workshops. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY – all are welcome.

GOAL OF Argentine Tango Dallas 
To preserve and promote Argentine Tango in its myriad of expressions: music, dance, poetry, history and the visual arts.
Argentine Tango Dallas introduces tango to the Dallas community in many different ways: classes, workshops, shows, Performances, concerts.

SOME MILESTONES

The Organization has provided free dance classes at different locations in Dallas. Hundreds of dancers have made their initial acquaintance with Tango through this program.
The organization has organized Milonga benefits and fundraisers in support of Argentine Tango
The Organization has produced Tango shows on a ‘non profit’ basis.
The organization has provided Master classes for accomplished dancers .
